The Plan for Parking

Hey Friends! Today we want to chat with you about a topic that comes up often with Fellow Wanderers ... and that is what to do with your car when flying out of an airport that is not located in your hometown. Many of us up here in Northern Wisconsin are traveling 4-6 hours to a larger city with an airport hub to catch our departing flights. There are actually a number of options for where to leave your car while you're gone and we're here to review the pros and cons of each option for you. Whether you're flying out of Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, or beyond, each city / airport offers different overnight parking choices and it's important to assess which option is best for you based on price, location, ease of transfer and how much time you want to allow to retrieve your car upon your return. The three main parking options are: on-site at the airport, Park 'n Fly, or leaving your car at the hotel. Check out Joseph's video below to get the low down on each option in order to make the right decision based on your needs. You may find it surprising that we often recommend the Park 'n Fly as the overall best option when considering cost, ease, and safety. But again, each trip and each family is different, so it's important to learn about your choices and plan ahead. We look forward to chatting with you about the best parking solution for your next trip. Reach out today and let's get your set to fly! Yours in Wanderlust, Joseph R.
